I'm looking to order this card for use in my new Ryzen build (Asrock Rack X570D4U-2L2T). Supermicro's web page for this product
( AOC-S3008L-L8e / AOC-S3008L-L8e+ | Add-on Cards | Accessories | Products - Super Micro Computer, Inc. )
says it is only for Supermicro motherboards. Can anyone confirm that the card will work in a non-Supermicro board? I don't want to get an incompatible card; I'm already behind on my build since the last card I ordered was defective ( LSI 9207-8i ). Cross country shipping is a killer.
Thanks

I'd be interested too, because I ordered 5 HBAs and I'm going to use the exact same combination.

My guess is that it's just the typical company "We do not guarantee compatibility outside our own product range"

These will be fine on any MB as they are basically LSI 3008 cards at heart.

You can flash these to LSI firmware and cross flash AOC-S3008L-L8i to AOC-S3008L-L8e and vice versa.

Thanks, seems like there are a few others using this combo, so I placed an order.
