Anyone using Supermicro SC847E26-JBOD at home?

I am thinking of buying an SC847E26-JBOD and running it at home. I heard it is a good chassis (can someone confirm). I thought of a Norco 4224 first, but I dont know.

Anyway, would this Supermicro case be overkill for a home user? Is anyone running it at home? Or is it only a professional thingy?

The quality is probably better than the Norco. I really like the SM chassis but for home usage you will find that the PSU's are too noisy, there are too many , and the regular fans will have to be swapped to more quiet ones if your hardware permits that change. Does it have an expander backplane?

Yeah I think has expander back plane. But I should be able to swap noisy parts to quieter, right? Anyone has done that?
