Anyone happen to have a LSI 9205-8e IT mode firmware bundle?

So I ended up with a HP221 that turns out not to be a 9207-8e like it says on the back of the card, but rather a 9205-8e. Unfortunately I haven't had any luck finding a IT firmware bundle for this card. Am I SOL?

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!

Pretty sure the SAS2008 (LSI 92xx) firmware works with all the cards based on it. I know I used a different download than what my card was and when you look at the different downloads they are all the same. Double check me though.

Also, I've confirmed it's the PCIe 2.0 version of the 2308 chip from lspci output.

LnkCap: Port #0, Speed 5GT/s, Width x8, ASPM L0s, Exit Latency L0s <64ns, L1 <1us
ClockPM- Surprise- LLActRep- BwNot-
LnkCtl: ASPM Disabled; RCB 64 bytes Disabled- CommClk+
ExtSynch- ClockPM- AutWidDis- BWInt- AutBWInt-
LnkSta: Speed 5GT/s, Width x8, TrErr- Train- SlotClk+ DLActive- BWMgmt- ABWMgmt-

If anyone has the 9205-8e P20 LSI firmware I'd really appreciate it. Unfortunately the shuffle of LSI -> Avago -> Broadcom has made it difficult to find.

Broadcom reorganized their download section. Check under legacy / HBA section. I should have a copy let me check also.

@BLinux
I may have the original SBR from one of the Intel cards based on 2308 (C0) chip. I think it is older revision of RMS25KB080. I had to use 9205-8e. Lmk if you want that also for your research.

If you can figure out how to circumvent Intel MoBo only lock, they can be had for under $10 even for the new rev. Part# G35828-310 (or 311).

@nthu9280 yes, I would appreciate that too. Although I'm looking for rev B0, a few different samples would be helpful. Please let me know when you have it for me. Thanks.

@BLinux - The card is in a production server and I can't boot it to DOS to pull the SBR off. However, the 9205-8e's I have are in IT mode, and MegaRec shouldn't be able to even see them. What are you trying to do? Put a card into IR mode?

Sorry for thread necromancy, but if someone could please share with me the SBR for an 9205-8e card that would be really really useful

Thanks!
