I never had any problem with this switch, I'm surprised myself about this thing. (spoiler: I'm an experienced network administrator and probably miss some things that you maybe have trouble). In fact, it's working so well that I didn't want to update the firmware to keep it "working". Regarding the temperature, I measured with the chinese infrared gun and never goes up beyond 60ºC. So, passive cooling is the way. I connected one Ubiquiti U7 pro XG and one Ubiquiti U6 Long range, both with PoE. One is 15 meters aways and the other one 35 meters away. Everything works flawlessly

i'm going to look into this, my CRS309 is being weird, I don't have a ton of cash, and 4x10G POE + SFP+ sounds nice.

The advent of LLMs doesnt hurt. I'll look at your code and Cisco. Any other keywords I can look up?

Setting up the SVI and VLAN config is very easy on those realtek switches since they have a Cisco-like CLI. I can only recommend using it over the weird and confusing WebUI.
