One difference I immediately noticed was that you can now set a first and second syslog server that you want the switch to send logs to, which wasn't possible before using neither the web interface nor the CLI as far as I recall. I'm sure it was probably possible to do it on the old version too by restoring a modified configuration, if you happened to know the configuration syntax, but that doesn't really count.

I got the L3 PoE version of this switch a few days ago. The shipment to Spain took almost a entire month with customs. I want to hang two unifi 7 XG devices. I need to setup a port trunk (not get confused with vlan trunk) under hybrid mode, with default vlan 28 and tagged vlans 453 and 684. It is possible to do this through the web ui? I can't see any option to make it. My firmware version is 7.1.2. Maybe I should work with the commands in the console to make this? Anyone did this before? Too many questions
OK I did it, it's just the interface is poor. If you have your lagg configured, you assign one vlan to one port member and automagically replicates to the members of the lagg. fantastic! ... so far so good the switch works like a charm. I'm pretty happy. If Hasivo is able to update the firmware and solve some security and UI issues.... this is a very good piece of hardware.
Mine has been in service since June 2025. So far, so good.
With 1 * 10GBASE-T, 1 * 2.5GBASE-T (PoE), 1 * SFP+ DAC and 1 * 10GBASE-SR, it does get fairly warm but it has been fine so far.
Hasivo F1100W-4XS-4XGT (L3 switch) - 4x SFP+ ports and 4x 10GBase-T ports since DEC 2025 working with two Ubiquiti U7 PRO XG with PoE, one fiber link to another chinese switch with chinese optics.The web does not have all the options, I have to ask to the tech service for the command manual.It is working like a charm, for 180€ I cannot be more happy.

Yeah, there are different manuals for the L2 and the L3 managed switches as they have completely different web interfaces. Besides that, they're indeed generic. I have seen Hasivo's PoE chip mentioned in one of them before, but that's about it.
I asked Hasivo for a new firmware, and they answered almost immediately:

They rarely post changelogs for these, and if they do it's often hard to decipher what they mean.
I have a couple of the PoE variant, but it’ll be several days before I can test. What I can say though is the stock firmware was a bit too unreliable (lost management IP config and the default conflicted with my router causing all sorts of fun), so I’m excited that openwrt snapshot builds are now available as of several days ago. Secondly, this switch since it’s small and passively cooled gets _extremely_ hot, so keep that in mind before purchasing.
Testing it would be awesome!

Unstable firmware surprises me a bit, since afaik all of these RTL93xx chinese switches just run the realtek reference implementation with minor changes like the logo in the WebUI. I've had the 8xSFP+ variant (from "Lianguo" or sth, FW 1.1.1.31) for a few months now and that has been rock stable. I'm only running some L2 and a bit of static L3 routing on it though, no OSPF or anything.
I kinda like the CLI of those boxes since it's very Cisco-like. The WebUI is a bit weird though.
Oh and i know they get very hot, i actually designed and 3D printed an under-desk-mount for them that allows attaching a (very slow running) 80mm fan.

Are you sure you didn't just fail to save the config to flash instead of just the running config in RAM? That's a common mistake people make with these.

Mine has been running great since March 2025 without that happening even once.
So far it has been rock solid and I've only rebooted it to update the firmware once or twice. Yes, like most other cheap to semi-cheap 8 port 10 Gbit/s switches, this one is based on the RTL9303. It's used in a few other switches from more well-known brands as well, such as the USW-Aggregation from Ubiquiti.

I ended up picking up a Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber as a router/firewall because i didn’t want to deal with setting up VLANs between three different interfaces (OPN, Mikrotik CRS309, Mikrotik CRS326-24G-2SFP+) … enough time has passed, where I feel comfortable, might sell some one of the Mikrotik switches and throw the 4XS-4XGT in the mix
Setting up the SVI and VLAN config is very easy on those realtek switches since they have a Cisco-like CLI. I can only recommend using it over the weird and confusing WebUI.
The exact syntax and command flavour differs a bit per model or generation, but it would usually just be something like this:
