as i look at it, i think it's the same seller at this thread: Supermicro 4U 24 bay 846 chassis SAS2 with rails/motherboard - $300

The pictures are identical, the shipping costs are the same, and the location is the same. wonder if they noticed sales slowed down after they raised the price in that other listing and decided to list under another account at the lower price again?

agree... this seller's shipping seems on the high side. Even within CA it's $85 for me. I've had the same size server shipped to me from further for less.

That said, there's a $15 off $75 flash coupon on ebay right now for anyone who decides to pull the trigger on this one; $15 off might help a bit...
