Hello,
I have a HPE DL325 ProLiant G10 with first gen EPYC 7251.
Does anybody know if this server is compatible with second (Rome) or third (Milan) generations of the CPU?
I see that HP subsequently released DL325 ProLiant G10 plus and DL325 ProLiant G10 plus v2 which come with the newer CPUs but I was wondering if the upgrade was possible for the first version of the server.
I've purchased about a dozen of that model that have the 7402 Rome CPU in them. You should have no problem upgrading to a Rome CPU as long as the cooling can handle it. Milan is off the table unfortunately. Good luck!

Did anyone here buy one of the HPE Epyc Upgradekits and runs it on an Asrock Rack ROMED6U-2L2T? This is the combination I am interested in.
