This sounds awesome. Q1 should mean that firmer info is close.

Where to watch for this by the way? You going to be covering it? Still a go before I guess the end of next month which would technically end the quarter?I saw one in Taiwan at the end of October. IPMI + EPYC 3000. Expected to land Q1 2019.
I have learned:If it's launching then would think they could get you a sample a bit earlier!
All great points.I have learned:
- Things happen when they happen.
- Have a big pipeline so when you wait, you do not get stuck scrambling for content.
- Pre-release samples are always delivered later than you want, or they are so buggy you waste a ton of time on them
Hopefully someone that sells into consumer channels a bit normally!Well, I can confirm good things
Yes. Pricing looks to be well below Xeon D-2100/ 1500.Hopefully someone that sells into consumer channels a bit normally!
This is a wise observation. Perhaps Tuesday at 6:01AM a new series may start on STH.They all look to be mITX and without 24pin power plugs, 4xSATA, no embedded 10GbE but with four LAN ports from an i350, graphics/IPMI via the ubiquitous AST2500.
10Gbase-T is a sad miss on these, since everything else looks so great. I really hope SuperMicro have more models to bring out, that will include it.:O
It certainly looks that way - seems they have a product list of sorts here: Super Micro Computer, Inc. - Support Home
Model numbers currently listed:

M11SDV-4CT-LN4F
M11SDV-8C-LN4F
