    What's the warranty length? 1 year? 3years? 30 days?

This is an enterprise drive and they usually carry a 5 year warranty. This CNET page also lists 5 years: WD RE WD6001FXYZ Specs
But I can't find this model on the WD site for some reason.
Also, the price has jumped $50 since the time I posted yesterday. Still cheaper compared to everywhere else but not as good of a deal any more...

Wow, at $210 I would've been seriously tempted to pick up some of these. Glad I missed it, given that I don't really need them at the moment! :p

Ordered 2. I assume they are brand new... Will check the warranty when they arrive.

I recall reading something about a difference in the format of WD6001FXYZ compared to WD6001FYYZ drives.
According to the 'Lime Tech' forum dated Jan 2016 listed below. The WD6001FXYZ is 4Kn advanced format and could cause problems in unRAID:
    WD6001FXYZ as a parity drive?

Whats the warranty status? I'm in need of 3 drives here soon and these might fit the bill.

@dgcruzing I don't see why not. I put several sets of the 4TB x300's in supermicro servers over the summer without issues so far.

Cheers, will grab a pair and run them in tandem for backups.. now just to get newegg to accept the purchase and send them to my reship address I have there.. same story as before.. will update the reship to Aus for the other members as I think I may have found another way round buying off newegg.. just depends on if they will accept the CCpayment I made as I have used the shipping address as billing as well..
Which it seems they don't like payment via PayPal as keeps throwing up an error.. anyways we will see if they ship or not and or accept the payment..
