I debated that, my son still enjoys the existing version of Fire HD (non-kid) so far so good in a 4yo hands LOL.

I picked up a 60qt Ice Chest for 25% off, sadly nothing else I could find was worthwhile... no 1080s !!

I didn't find anything I wanted. Seems like Prime day is when Amazon clears out their slow/ no moving inventory.
I did notice a couple of examples of sleazy pricing. Last week I bought a Etekcity Remote outlet kit for $29.98. It included 2 remotes and 5 outlets, each remote controls all 5 outlets Prime day equivalent was the same exact kit minus 2 remote outlets for $24.98. You're left with 2 sets of buttons on the remote that are useless. This is no deal at all, Prime or not.

BTW: The above works darn good. I bought it because I'm too lazy to get up to turn the bedroom fan on and off.

i have the camelizer plugin in my browser and frankly, none of those prime day deals look that great when you look a the price history for the item. the only thing i bought were some yubikeys since they go on sale like once a year.

Picked up a ShieldTV needed a solid 4k 60hz HDR10 streaming box with H.265/HEVC, $20 off and it has never been on sale before. Also got in on $5 off $15 in books and $5 off $25 gift card.

Update: And 2 Used (Like New) SM LGA 2011 heatsinks from AMZN Warehouse Deals with an extra 20% off of the already discounted price.

I highly recommend these TCL Roku TVs. I picked up a 50" 4K model about a year ago, refurbished on Woot for $299. It's surprisingly a good TV for the price. Keep an eye on Slickdeals, I see them pop up on there every couple of weeks.
