I'm running numthreads=12 with the av1 image on both the D-1541 and D-1537. I'm getting approximately 1040 H/s on the D-1541 and 860 H/S on the D-1537.

You've done no other tweaks than setting threads to 12?

Nope. That is running the av1 image though instead of the priv image. On the priv image I was running numthreads=6.

I'm running the AV1 image as well. But using numthreads=12 I only get 881 H/s on my Xeon D-1541.

Makes me glad I moved from Florida to Georgia, at least I have my basement to put my computer gear in, and it stays pretty much around 25 degrees Celsius in summer and around 10 degrees in winter. Humidity even in summer rarely gets above 60%. I hope to have my basement subpanel energized in the next 6 weeks when I get the time to finish the wiring and the final electrical inspection.

I don't think I'm getting full potential of dual E5-4650 v3 QS . ~3400 H/s which is only slightly better than Dual e5-2660 v2 system. Even with overhead of Esxi and 2x ubuntu VM was able to do nearly 1600 H/s on each VM when the esxi was idle.

E5-4650 V3 has 3MB L2 + 30MB L3
Bare metal CentOS with STH Docker, 2 containers with 15 threads , huge pages enabled. Only enabled 9 cores in BIOS. System is not fully optimized for power draw. Has HBA, onboard 4 x 10G base-T could be adding ~30W. IPMI reports 230W.

docker run -itd --name aeon216a01 -e username=$wally -e email=$emal -e numthreads=$ythreads --cpuset-cpus="0-8,18-22" servethehome/aeon_xmrig:priv

docker run -itd --name aeon216a02 -e username=$wally -e email=$emal -e numthreads=$ythreads --cpuset-cpus="9-17,27-31" servethehome/aeon_xmrig:priv

Here is the lscpu output snippet. Tried 14 & 16 threads the results were worse. Doesn't look like L2 is of much use. Anything else I can tweak or this is as good as it gets?

Strike! Finally managed to surpass 10000 H/s with dual Epyc 7301. Each NUMA node runs two xmrig workers.
One worker with 7 threads pinned to the first 7 hardware threads with -v 2 (uses 2MB of L3 per thread). These run between 1145 H/s and 1150 H/s.
And one worker with 1 thread pinned to the last remaining hardware thread with -v 1 (uses 1MB of L3 per thread). These are all running at 115 H/s.
So the total hash rate is around 10100 H/s with a power draw of 330W.

The first one I bought did. The next 4 did not. You'll want a v1 laying around.
I followed your lead and also bought a few of the SuperMicro boxes. I did not realize I needed a V1 CPU just to get the server to boot. With the E5-2680v2 in place, it does not get past the initial Post beep. Although I can hit the IPMI. But, the seller must have changed the default password as ADMIN/ADMIN does not work. Just ordered a couple E5-2603v1 off of Ebay and will have to wait another week to get these started. I hate to wait for stuff like this....

One is all you need. Boots fine in the rear slot (square ILM).

Also, the boards are picky about which slots the memory goes in; be sure to read the manual on that...

My Ryzen 1700X is undervolted to 1,15 v @ 3,65 Ghz ( all Core , no Boost ) , i use 7 Threads + CPU Affinity = 2020-2090 H/s ( XMrig 2.4.4 ) -- ca 90 Watt , with XMRig 2.4.3 Beta for AMD GPU my ( RX480 to 580 Flashed ) 1530 H/s undervolted + downclocked to 1240 @ 0,98v .

My Computer needs 238 Watt for the ~ 3600 H/s

But i decided to use my RX 580 for Etherum , both Miner ( XMrig for Aeon , claymore for ETH ) working good together - i can use my System normally - Streaming , Surfing are no Problem

If i close the GPU Miner i even can play Games and continue Mining - if they are not CPU hungry

PS: I could get 2300 h ( Aeon ) now , using 2 XMrig threads , one with 6 Core s and CPU Affinity of 0x5554 (1730 h/s) and one with 2 Cores and cpu Affinity of 0x5 ( 570 h/s ) , if i close the 2 Core Thread i can work normal with the computer , if i am only mining ( over night e.g ) i start the 2 core Thread

Pair of 6236

Monero 794h/s
Aeon 2500h/s or 1250 h/s cpu

I would suspect around 900-950 h/s per cpu
That number seems a bit...ambitious. I have no direct experience with that chip, but with my 4x Opteron 6276 machines I get just a touch over 500H/s per processor.

hello. can you give me your config for ryzen 1600 on aeon?
I could get 2300 h ( Aeon ) now , using 2 XMrig threads , one with 6 Core s and CPU Affinity of 0x5554 (1730 h/s) and one with 2 Cores and cpu Affinity of 0x5 ( 570 h/s ) , if i close the 2 Core Thread i can work normal with the computer , if i am only mining ( over night e.g ) i start the 2 core Thread

your 1700 should be able to reach the 3,65 GHZ at all cores too , maybe he needs more voltage than my 1700x

you should be able to get 8 - 9 Aeon /month with 2000 h/s = ~ 24 - 30 USD , but think at the electricity cost of your system , only mining Aeon may be not enough to pay the electricity Bill.

I am mining 3 Coins now , Aeon = 27-30 USD - CPU , GPU Dual mining Etherum = 45 - 50 USD and Smartcash = ~ 9 -10 USD , from the ~ 85 USD are 45 - 50 USD for the electricity ( i pay ~ 0,28 USD/kwh in Germany
My System needs ~ 280 Watt at mining ( 3 Coin ) = 6,72 kwh / day or 201,6 kwh/month = ~ 56 USD

@MK_one am I correct to assume an AMD GPU for the dual mining or something else?
Yes , an RX480 Red Devil , flashed to an RX580 Asus Strix - works well ...

But the Claymore Dual Miner works with Nvidia and Cuda too , since i dont have an Nvidia Card .... - dont ask me ...
Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v11.2 (Windows/Linux)

i use the 11.2 - now i can use the SSL port for mining ETH at ethermine

PS: If you use an AMD GPU you can use the newest driver but dont forget to change from Gaming ( Standard ) = 22 - 23 MH/s Etherum to Compute mode = 29 MH/s

Edit : i was playing with the Dualminer options -dcri and Etha without i had 29,45 MH/s Ether and 147,2 MH /s Smartcash

Now i have 29,04 MH /s Ether and 261,2 MH/s Smartcash , i had to increase GPU clock and voltage a bit = 17 - 20 Watt more from 1180@940 to 1220@950 ( have to wait if this is stable over night ) , you can get even a bit more at the cost of Power consumption or 16 MH/s Ether and 370 MH/s Smartcash only with playing with these two options

EthDcrMiner64.exe -etha 11 -dcri 9 -asm 1 -epool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal 0x8d8bdfc524c751285fXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.Ryzen -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://pool.smartcash.cc:3333 -dwal MK_one.XXXX -dpsw XXXX -dcoin keccak
