advice on prebuilt server/workstation with IPMI/iLO/iDRAC

I'm looking for a server or workstation that has some kind of OOBM I can interact with via scripts, be it API or whatever works.

I'm not really sure what generations work with that? I know it exists. I was looking at suggestions on what to look for.

I'm trying to build a 3 node cluster over time, I'm going to mess with Hyper-V (knowledge for work) as well as learn proxmox, k8s, harvester to settle on something for home.

I don't really have a defined budget specifically since this is a long term thing, but hopefully something around $500-ish USD, would buy from eBay, if any of that info helps. I don't need specific listings or anything. I just don't know what systems to look for, or how to determine a OOBM system that supports this.

I don't know if it has anything to do with redfish but all the supermicro motherboards in at least the past 10y can be interacted with the supermicro IPMI CLI tool where you can do and access pretty much everything you see in the ipmi web UI. I use that to log all temperature and power sensors, update the firewall rules, power on a server remotely, etc

This is the best to go for and cheap too. Supermicro rock
