Advice on 10gig network card

I'm currently running Proxmox ( 7.2-11 ) as my hypervisor with the following specs:

CPU: i7-12700k
MOB: ASUS Prima Z690-P D4
RAM: 96GB DDR4 3200mhz

I have been looking for a couple 10gig network cards to upgrade from the 1gig onboard.
These are the once I'm considering with the current knowledge.

Connect X3 MCX312A-XCBT
Intel X520-DA2 2-Port 10GB SFP+ (SR-IOV)

Obviously I'd like the best BANG for my bucks but also a card that is widely supported on current systems.

I'd love to hear your suggestions and tips on what could be the best matching network card

Both are fine cards and have been used for a long time by many folks here. No problems with drivers. X520 is picky about transceivers unless you mod the EEPROM.

I checked on the specs and think of going with the Connect X3 as it runs on PCI 3.0 instead of the 2.0 on the x520.
