I'm trying to configure this to send me emails when a problem occurs, but I'm getting nowhere:

If I use Send Test Email, it spins its wheels for a bit and then returns to the dialog.
I don't get an email
Where to look to find out what is wrong please?
I have found references on the web to SMTPErr.log but where would I find that file?
