have a adaptec 8805 running with windows server 2019. Anyone here experience in upgrading to windows server 2022 or 2025 ? Is the controller supported ? I know quite old contoller but running without any problem since years...

I've used a 81605zq (same generation as your 8805) with windows 2022 (I think server 2022 had even built in driver for the controller), it should work for 2022. For 2025 I am not sure, I don't think that the underlying windows nt had big changes in the driver model so it probably also works with server 2025...
