Hello everyone,

it's not my week. Yesterday I destroyed the CPU Fan of my A1SAM-2750F.
The fan is manufactured by Delta Electronics and model is EFB0512HHA.

So I thought I will surf the Internet for a while and buy a 50x50x10 replacement with a 4 pin pwm connector.
Problem is: There seems to be none. If I try to order a EFB0512HHA it is a 3 pin fan.
And all other fan distributers offer PWM fans above a size of 60x60

Can anyone tell me if it is safe to use a 50x50x10 connector with 3 Pins?
Will the board notice that it cant control the cpu fan and therefore make Problems?

Is there pobably a passive cooler that would fit the board and also into a 1U case?

Help is apreciated very much.

it'll work with 3 or 4 pin cables but there is a chance it'll defualt to full power (my older x6 and x7 supermicro's did throttle correctly, but some do not, and rull full speed)

for a 20W atom you can get away with a 40MM

and call supermicro they've always been great about parts.
