I like the NVMe drives but you aren't gonna have 24 of them in a chassis. Super speeds there.

IDF 2014 Storage Roundup - RAM and NVMe and IOPS! Oh my!

nice speeds from those sas 12.0 drives. At the bottom of the page it shows 3 servers connected to jbod filled with 24 p3700s hitting 14 million iops not bad! Could do the jbod with one server but would need some pcie switches'
