A cost-effective Intel W680 ECC server: repurposing an HP Z2 G9 motherboard

Hello, I was recently checking this MOBO.

I believe that MOBO for the Tower and SFF versions are the same. A cut down version (but not my much) is used in the HP Elite SFF (based on Q670 chipset).

One note, I don't think the HP FlexIO V2 10G ethernet is compatible with these motherboards. The connector is longer.
I think HP FlexIO V2 10G module only work in the HP Elite Mini and HP Z2 Mini.

HP,Dell,Lenovo like that,
Dell OP 5000,7000,7010 different motherboard but similar.
interesting the Precision 3460 SFF(w680) mobo fits in a OP 5000 SFF case.

Yes, likewise the Z2 SFF G9 (w680) mobo is very similar to the Elite SFF G9 (Q670)

That's down to HP to provide support for those in their firmware. The most recent update was in Feb and so there's a chance they did.
