These appear to be Self Encrypting Drives - they state SED. If you have a way to use it, it's probably worh the extra $9

Should I buy 4 and RAID them?

I have a DB server that's running off a 1TB SSD 850 Pro, and it's basically at ~90+ disk usage. Yeah, it's dumb, but it's home hobby crap, and I can't afford much fancier.
