OMG, there were more than 10 available when I posted this. Somebody must have bought all 102.

I've been seeing S3610/S3700 800GB going for less than $50/ea. Should've posted the S3700s the seller made an offer of $45/ea for. Not really comparable to $29 but we're talking 10DWPD endurance.

Yeah, these drives have less than half the endurance of even the s3610 at 3dwpd. At 800GB the s3610 is rated at 5.3PB vs the M500DC at only 1.9PB for lifetime writes. That puts these at less than 2dwpd.

Mine arrived today and it has 90% life remaining. For 29 bucks I ain't gonna complain.
Curious, what's your total written show at 90%. I got two drives: one has almost nothing written, the other one about a petabyte. Both show 100% health. Drive firmware seems to be pretty generous with estimation or it only got really large files written to it maybe....

What are you guys using for testing? I found CrystalDiskInfo to not be very reliable. It would show 100% health when HD Sentinel would take into account more info like pending sectors etc.

Hmmm, might be a good target to replace the 2.5" SAS HDs in my PXE server. Slow or not, these will be faster than what I have for NFS.

In my case, both HD sentinel and HWInfo showed 100% health.
I wouldn't trust HD Sentinel for SSD's. I have a 400GB Intel DC S3700 that Intel's SSD Toolbox says has 20% life remaining. HD Sentinel says 100%. Given the amount of data written to the drive, Intel is obviously correct and HD Sentinel is wrong.

I'm kinda funny about listings like this. If the model in the photo shoot is ugly, I won't buy.
What picture are you seeing because I didn't see any models in mine. :D

But on a serious note, I too noted the gouge on the sticker in that photo which tells me these drives were knocking around which isn't a great first impression.
