Pardon our interruption...

More sharing just how cursed this is, but could be useful to some. Seller did not go below $70+S/H when trying to make offer, so I took that.

• Mini-ITX
• Support 14th/13th/12th Generation Intel® Processors UP TO 65W
• Intel® Q670 Chipset
• Dual Channel DDR5, 2 x SO-DIMMs. Maximum 64GB (32GB PER SLOT X 2)
• 1 x 2.5GbE LAN Port
• 1 x GbE LAN Port
• 1 x M.2 2280 Slot
• 1 x M.2 2242 Slot for Wireless
• HDMI, DP, VGA, 4 x USB 3.2 (no mobo header though, just 2x USB 2.0 headers)
• 2 x SATA 6Gb/s

First and foremost... it uses a PCIe 3.0x16 slot!!! Darn.

Second, the only CPUs that would work are T series- although maybe the Pentium/Celerons would work as they are under the 65W too but thats not mentioned.

Finally, the seller explained the motherboard is a Custom Order Request so there is no official section on their site for support. They do include pages from the manual in the box for the F Panel headers etc. although it was the same as their other motherboards. I was informed the GIGAIPC mITX-H610E is the closest match (H610E chipset, DDR4 sodimm, general layout)

I attached a screenshot from my setup. I had a 12100T and 2x 64GB edit: 64GB total, 2x 32GB DDR5 SODIMMs lying around, knowing Im not getting more RAM anytime soon I wanted to put it to work. Such an odd piece of gear but so far so good, everything worked out of the box.

this seems fun. shipping kills the deal for me but definitely something that'd make a great office PC if you have the spare parts lying around.

So 65W SKUs like say a i5-12500 doesn’t boot? Since you said T series only would work?
The Q670 version of this board isn't on the manufacturer's website, however the H610 version is.

My thinking is that they look identical, and the IO photo on Ebay is the exact same photo as the H610 version of this motherboard - not that surprising seeing that just the chipset is different.

It is therefor pretty safe to say, that we can refer to the H610 for CPU, RAM etc support to deduce what is supported.

mITX-H610E | Mini-ITX motherboard with Intel® H610 Chipset - support 14th/13th/12th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors

The CPU supported is ALL CPUs up to 65w TDP - i9-12900 is listed, but probably will run at only 65W.

I'd be pretty careful!! The only neutral reviews on the item mention trying to use a 65W CPU with no success, and no positive reviews mention 65W CPU, just 35W.

That said, it seems that people in the reviews had success with GIGAIPC Customer Service- perhaps they could provide a confirmation on that?
