Yep.... does mPCIe make you angry?is that a goddamn mPCIe slot?
No, it's 2024 and I thought that form factor died out years ago.Yep.... does mPCIe make you angry?![]()
Wouldn't it stand to reason this is a used product with a CPU SKU that came out in 2020, closing in on four years ago, and is used for digital signage a market space known for legacy components...?No, it's 2024 and I thought that form factor died out years ago.
Even in 2020 I would have considered mPCIe legacy.Wouldn't it stand to reason this is a used product with a CPU SKU that came out in 2020, closing in on four years ago, and is used for digital signage a market space known for legacy components...?
Can also be configured as mSATA via a jumper, but my guess is the mPCIe is there for a cellular modem.is that a goddamn mPCIe slot?
Thank you for letting me know! Interesting that they had 5, you got 2x and I got one, they showed 4 left and 4 sold when they ended the listing. How soon did the listing end after your order when through? Mine literally went through minutes before the listing ended.I offered $60 and was counter-offered $70. I was able to get two of them.
Got the tracking number and all.
The listing still shows 4 right now, and it's still showing open for me.
Nope, NVM... it's showing as ended for me now.
Sorry, I should've added that I got mine yesterday. But before I posted earlier today, it showed the four still available. It didn't show that it had ended.Thank you for letting me know! Interesting. I've seen it ended since right after my order. Glad to hear you got yours. I think mine might have shipped as there's an email I haven't seen yet.Sorry, I should've added that I got mine yesterday. But before I posted earlier today, it showed the four still available. A minute later, it was updated to show it had ended. Not sure what happened there.
Remove the four screws on the bottom, the two on the front closest to the bottom, and the two on the back closest to the bottom. The entire bottom panel comes off exposing the M.2, mSATA, and memory slots. There is room for two DDR4 SODIMMs.Got mine today! Nice and hefty! Anyone know how to open it up without taking out every single screw? I'm curious to see the motherboard and if it's got any other expansion besides what has been discovered so far.
Thank you! It seemed like these were the wrong 4 to undo as they would have housed the motherboard so I didn't try them.Remove the four screws on the bottom, the two on the front closest to the bottom, and the two on the back closest to the bottom. Yep. The range listed on the back is 100-240VAC, 50/60 Hz.In case the psu is internal (there seem to be models with internal and with external PSU): does it take up to 240 V ?
