Hi guys,

Looking for a new home lab machine or machines, been waiting for the 6th gen NUC to get 32gb ram.
NUC6I3SYH is what I was thinking of with 32gb, a 500gb m.2 Sata Ssd + 1 th 2.5" Sata Ssd.

Intel does not list any 16gb dimms yet, Anybody here already have any experience on the new NUC's ?

Question is does anybody know if the 16gb dimms below will work ?

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 16GB 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2133 (PC4 17000) Laptop Memory Model F4-2133C15S-16GRS

These look to be abt a $450-500 pricepoint w/out ram, shameless plug...I have three E3 servers (mobo, proc, memory) for $400 each over in FS/FT/WTB section of this site.

Just sayin'...haha, that is IF your willing and able to roll up sleeves and put a system together.

Pair w/ a Lenovo ThinkServer RD240/RD220 or Chenbro/Micom RM23212 chassis for roughly $100 and a PSU and you're set!

thanks for the offer and although I am in NY currently I don't really want to take big things back with me to Singapore as luggage.

I did think to make a Xeon-D system and may still do as a storage node but really looking for nice small energy efficient home lab. (Got plenty of high end gear in my DC's at work for real work lab :) )

On prices... (And have Amazon gift vouchers from Christmas to use)
Currently $300 for the i3 NUC and $200 for 32gb ram.
So about $500 + storage.
