Hello, trying to format size of the disk, i am facing this error : illegal request type sense key apart from invalid opcode
ı have a HP Qlogic QLE2562 - 489191-001 - PCIe 8GB Dual Port FC HBA
I would like to give a small reward to the person who helped me solve the problem.
SIZE = 528 NOT 520.
I tried all the commands said in the forum and the result is still the same
PSID = I did reset.

What does this output?

$ sg_readcap -l /dev/sg26

Also, and this is just a guess as I haven't done it myself yet, but aren't most SSDs always going to be 512e? Meaning, they are really 4kn sectors but "e"mulate 512 for older OSes/file systems.

Wouldn't you want to format as --size=4096?

try options -six or/and -v
