Yes. I've gotten over 100 sticks 6.5 to 7.5 so 10 is a big jump in terms of %, but for 8-16 it's not a lot of money.

Keep an eye on ebay like a hawk :) Also you probably need to buy 20+ at a time to get that price but some sellers I 've got 2-8 at that price with BIN.

yep

and I guess if i was buying 24 sticks I'd want to know if it was all ECC or mixed eCC and non-ECC, is it all really slow or half really slow and half really fast...

The prices I mentioned were all matched/exact same model # RAM.

The deal isn't that "hot" if you get a bag of ram that doesn't work together as you're planning or it has ecc and non-ecc in the same "mix".

Let us know what you get :) Fingers crossed.

Why not just message and ask what the "mix" includes?

Not $6 for DDR3 UDIMM is bad !! LOL!!

May I ask where the 'mixed' is coming from? I see 'manufacturer: may vary'. Am I missing something? 10600R also suggests not UDIMM?

I've bought from this seller before, had good experiences....

@NetWise - Their info, to me, is not consistent to feel comfortable buying w/out asking them questions first.

I'd just message and ask what it means to "vary manufacturer" and if it's registered, ecc, etc...
:)

I didn't mean to argue against the deal, it is one,... once you know what exactly you'll be getting :)

Response from seller:

My question to seller:
'Hi, your description states manufacturer may vary.
If I purchased 2, one or two kits, would they all be from same manufacturer?'

Sellers response:
'As long as you specify that in your purchase we will do it. Otherwise each kit will match but the kits may be different.'

NB. I did not think to specify if all ram will be EEC or mixed EEC or non-EEC.

FYI

I've asked seller to confirm whether they are registered and ECC and will await their reply.
Cheers

I understood that each kit would be the same but if you bought another they might be a slightly different kit. Also can't see any reason why some would be ECC and some not.

Always good to verify but I read it significantly less negatively ;).

judging by their other lots i'm sure they can make a match of 24 sticks, lol... some of their lots are 300+ sticks

Just gotta be sure, lol :)

Additional data point: I offered $40 (+shipping) for a set of 6x4GB rdimms listed at $60. Surprisingly, it was accepted right off the bat.
