Does anyone know if this is possible?
Esxi servers 5.5 and xpenology 5.2

If so, please share.

Why not just use Solaris or FreeNAS? At least you'll know it works better than a hacked Synology clone.

I know. Should have made the Xpenology a VM instead of a bare metal install. Unfortunately that boat has sailed..
