Finally pulled the trigger on actually useful Wifi 7 gear (10gb) using the trade-up program going on right now. Submitted a photo of an old Aruba S2500, got back a code in about 15 minutes. I don't think discount codes stack, but it does work on "sale" items.

Linked my "Share this link with a friend" to the image. Doubt I'll ever use their 10% discount code, but you never know.

PSA had to check for the EU folks, this seems to be US only, maybe theres another region site with an equivalent program?

very interesting. didn't see any rules about what kind of network equipment you needed to send them a picture of. crappy linksys home router from 2010 maybe?

I still haven't set up my EAP773s I bought too long ago but that EAP787 does look nice... maybe a new toy will motivate me.

Doesnt stack. Very nice coupon. Even their not yet released stuff is available. A pre release switche is also on a monthly sale which seems odd... that sale did stack with the coupon.

SG3218XP-M2 V2 is 240 USD if you get the trade in coupon. The significantly lower POE V1 is also the same price... I hope it doesn't get banned before I get it. It said estimated ship date was 7/28.

Random question, I'm interested in the 10G stuff also. I have a lot of 40gbe cards (I either daisy chain direct connections or have two qsfp->sfp+ modules).

I don't want to drop a ton of money on the qsfp conversion modules. If I run fiber from a qsfp NIC port to an sfp+ module in a 10gbe switch, will this all work? I don't know if the Connectx-3 or the switch need to necessarily know that the other is working a different rate?

For clarity: NIC | QSFP optical transceiver -> Fiber -> SFP+ optical transceiver | switch

I believe you either need a special fiber cable/DAC that splits to 4, or a special qsfp receiver that only does SFP+. SFP+ and QSFP definitely dont work one to one. There might be other ways?

I also dont know if you can do QSFP transciever -> 4 way fiber split -> regular fiber -> SFP+, or if it requires 4 way fiber -> SFP+ transceiver
