Almost too good to be true but the seller has all positive feedback dating back few years. I recently bought stuff from the seller and have a good experience. That is $50 / per card shipped for a 12GB 8e card. If someone is looking for a true 12Gbps RAID with ext ports, this is a steal.

so, this is an external card, right? what kind of connectors do you need from this to a disk array chassis? how much do these type of cards go for usually?

External x4 mini-SAS HD connectors (SFF-8644) from the card. Other end of the cable depends on the disk array.

Lowest I've seen for the SAS3008 based internal cards with vertical ports (IBM) was $80-$90 range and generally $110+

The rear facing (Dell) ones were $130+ but not that frequently.

I've not tracked external cards.
