yes I'm sure someone knows. And I'd be surprised if anything larger than 8Gb worked on anything in that series. afaik more of a chipset limitation.

16GB modules work on the C6100. I have nodes equipped with 96GB of RAM using six 16GB modules. I have yet to try 192GB total, but it should work. My Supermicro X8DTH-6F based system says it can go up to 192GB using 12 DIMMs according the the manufacturer. I have a few Proliants here at work (G6 and G7 with the same chipset and 5600 series processors) with that much memory.

Sorry, OP I couldn't help you with your original question regarding the 32GB modules.

16gb modules work if you have x56xx/l56xx series cpus. 8gb modules max if you have x55xx/l55xx series cpus. Some people have reported 16gb modules working with the older cpus, ymmv. No 32gb module support.

Kingston shows one 32 GB DDR3L 1333 MHz 1.35V memory module (part number KVR13LR9Q4/32) compatible with SuperMicro's X8DTH-6F motherboard.

According to SuperMicro's documentation the speed would drop to 800 MHz for this quad ranked part in either 1 or 2 DPC configurations.

Still, 384 GB on a dual socket/12 DIMM motherboard is not bad!

At around $460/DIMM retail, however, that much memory would run over $5,500...

Hello,

I installed 6 dimm of 32Gb ( 4 ranks ) in supermicro x8dah-+f. My CPU is x5550

working.

Careful it is LRDIMM, motherboard x8dah+-f and update with x8dah+-F- LR bios.
Memory:
HP 32GB (1x32GB) 4RX4 PC3L-10600L

LRDIMM have no support with intel CPU 5500 serie, supported with intel CPU 5600.
