That’s a hard pass from me. 32 cores may sound amazing at first blush. But the Zen architecture has improved astronomically over the last five years. Unless you need the fancy fixins of memory channels and PCIe lanes, you are better off with a current gen Ryzen. Take the lowly $350-$400 Ryzen 7 5800X. That has just over double the single-threaded performance, 10% faster multicore performance and ultra fast PCIe 4.0 to boot. Not bad for just an 8-core consumer processor! An EPYC deal this is not. At $250, it might be worth it. But here, warranty-less from a sketchy source? Not so much.
