They are really old, ddr2 and they have been out for sale for over 6 months now. They sell slow. I rather wait, I guess some really good deals are coming in 2016.

I would personally have rather bought single server with dual E5600 (L5600) for this money as the performance is the same with much lower power consumption.

The L5420 came out in 2008 and was discontinued in end of 2010. No turbo boost or hyper threading.
Old hardware and I would not expect much life left.
I agree with Yarik Dot better to go with single server with L5600, better performance and lower power cost.
Though still people are reporting to having some problems with ram slots in MB starting to fail in humid and hot environments with their C6100.
