I havent had time to tinker with my network to see if I can get the JumboFrames issue sorted out. I have lots of packet fragmentation. Soon as I get that straightened out I will be flashing to see if that fixes performance.

I was about to flash the latest 2.9.1200 firmware to my card and then I read the release notes:
http://www.mellanox.com/pdf/firmware/ConnectX2-FW-2_9_1200-release_notes.pdf

This looks promising:
"SRIOV beta support for ConnectX-2. To enable it, set sriov_en to TRUE in the INI"
But this gives me pause:
"Firmware v2.9.1200 does not support 0.5-1m 10GE SFP cables"

Has anyone with this firmware revision had issues with short cables?

Also, I've not found anything in the release notes suggesting possible performance improvements when going from 2.9.1100 to 2.9.1200.

I have 2.9.1, not sure the exact revision. I have a 3m cable I think. I will pick up some fiber and try my fiber modules and see if the performance increases.

I have tried with sfp+ with fiber cable and no difference.

Hmm... I'm going to dig into this with you guys next week when I'm home. I don't even know if we are all having the same problem.... Wonder if I can boot my machines into Linux live CDs and see if it is in fact the windows driver.

Any one find an older version of the driver? I'll contact melanox tomorrow.

Are these the connectx-2 VPI cards? Latest firmware is 2.10.720 I thought?

I think @Levi and I have the same single-port cards that the OP referred to in the eBay listing.
Mellanox Technologies MT26448 [ConnectX EN 10GigE, PCIe 2.0 5GT/s] [15b3:6750] (rev b0)

# ethtool -i enp2s0
driver: mlx4_en
version: 2.2-1 (Feb 2014)
firmware-version: 2.9.1000
bus-info: 0000:02:00.0
supports-statistics: yes
supports-test: yes
supports-eeprom-access: no
supports-register-dump: no
supports-priv-flags: yes

I just realized that my firmware version already includes SR-IOV capabilities.
Though it may necessary to reflash with an INI containing the proper flag.
Has anyone had a chance to test SR-IOV on these devices yet?

Does anyone know of any SFP+ modules that works with these Connectx-2-cards?
Someone mentioned PLRXPL-SC-S43-22-N JDSU 10GB SFP+ earlier in this thread but 10 gbit connectivity was untested I think.. I was hoping for some confirmation before purchasing them :)
