I've been doing some reading on ReFS the next generation file system Microsoft has written for Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2. ReFS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And on the surface the spec list is quite interesting to me. Specifically its protection against bit rot.

So I'm curious have any of you deployed ReFS? And what your impressions of it have been so far?

Yep, it's slow. It also breaks on some file's metadata (a lot of my MP3 and M4A music can't be copied on to a ReFS drive as the file system doesn't support the metadata and just errors out).

I wasn't aware of its metadata issues. I guess it's not really ready for deployment yet. That sort of thing would affect me.
