So i have a small amount of ebay bucks i need to spend in next 48hrs before expired.

I need two 2011 cooler. I would normally go for the SNK-P0050AP4 but they are a little expensive

How's the Dynatron R5 cooler? the fan is only 6cm compared to the SNK but it's cheaper. Would it do a decent job? anyone with any experience with these?

Any other suggestions?

full size . normal non ilm..
the SNK-P0050AP4 is the ideal choice but it is a little bit on the expensive side.

the dynatron R5 is a lot cheaper but the smaller 6cm fan does bother me a little.

I have two of the supermicro ones too. they come with the ilm brackets and are very good at cooling.
But these dynatron R5 are a little smaller and a lot cheaper. I can get 2 of these less than the price of one supermicro cooler...

My experience is with the R14. I really like those Dynatron too. They weigh a a TON and idle speed is near silent for a 2U, can run open air dual CPU E5 behind my head without going crazy.

The heat pipe coolers in my experience require mcuh more air flow (louder) to keep things cool so I'd imagine the R5 is a great cooler, but not as quiet as the SM 4U nor the R14.

I may have them and not realize it, I also have the Intel ones that are similar looking and are my least favorite due to the sound increase.
The R14 surprise everyone I've suggested them too with how quiet they are most of the time :) NOT cheap option either.
