I never said consumer board, I said consumer CPU. And I guess I was wrong, the xeon e series while not consumer, is still quite limited in PCIE. THAT is what I was trying to get at.
A LARGE portion of people who are doing what you want to do don't realize that they need both bifurcation AND pcie lanes for each nvme. Since you didn't give all of the information that I needed in the other posts, I was trying to extract that in a tactful way.

In all seriousness, I read "What makes you think I am on consumer board" as snarky; especially since anyone attempting to help
was left without knowing what we were dealing with. I responded in kind, of course.
TL;DR ... its the interwebz and sometimes we take text how our minds want to take it .. not necessarily how the other poster meant it.
I can do better ... my postings are always to learn at the least and help where i can.
