So I have a 1U vertical wall mount for my gateway, however I didn't think ahead and now have a fanless POE switch too I want attached (3.5lbs).
It does have rack ears that would hang fine off the top. Does something like a 1u to 2u extension exist? ie) a 6 hole 2u bracket that would let me just extend out.
Basically something like this but with out the wall attach L part just the rack mount holes so I can convert my 1u rack to a 2u?
Here's what it looks like currently, I'm trying to avoid mounting more stuff around the wall and that would keep the cable runs short right next to the switch/gateway:
My initial thought is to just buy those L rack brackets above for like 8$ and use a grinder to cut the part off I don't want.
