When I browse the Supermicro "Tested memory list" from X8DTI-F with DDR3-1066 Registered selected, I see this module (HMT42GR7BMR4C-G7).

So from what, yes it should work.
But of course you should verify (trust but verify) for yourself.

I have the same RAM (for sale actually) and it's great RAM. I just updated the server to 256GB (with aftermarket RAM) that is came out of. HP is too expensive to purchase RAM from so we ordered it with the lower amount, remove is and install the aftermarket RAM when needed.
