14 TB SAS HDD *NEW* $135

Any opinions on which are better? Exos or Ultrastar?

I have both in various sizes and even some enterprise by Toshiba and others. Enterprise drives are pretty much made all to the same spec today, so I mainly get whichever one has the best price for my use case at the time.

Well I'm in for 12 14TB drives for $109 each.

$90 is the best price I see for 14TBs right now. Unfortunately they were $80 a week or two ago:

Well, the 12 seller refurbished 14TB drives I bought showed up.

All 12 have zero reallocated sectors (from SMART), and around 37000-38000 power-on hours. Now to run badblocks on them.

The smart data was NOT wiped, which is interesting.
