high load = higher clocks = higher core voltage. issue comes in idle with too low voltage.
memtest runs inbase clock, no idle.
Sounds plausible, the unpredictable runtime is still strange though, sometimes it runs for hours, sometimes it crashes within minutes.
crash means what ? PSOD,BSOD ?
No screens, no kerneldump (I'm running Linux on it) just powers off and back on, as if I pressed the reset button.
no, i sayd undervoltage issue.
in my experience swaping mobo is best way. a motherboard must run stable from factory.
I'll try to find a different OS to run on it, to see if t is stable with something else than Linux.
That's my opinion too of course, but as a lot of people seem to have trouble getting these boards stable and it has a lot of settings in the BIOS, so I hoped it was some combination of hardware triggered by software.
