I used display port and waitet about a minute. Then I got the bios
I've just inserted a GRML Live Linux USB stick, and after waiting a very long time, it suddenly showed the BIOS screen and after loading defaults/saving it boots a lot faster now!

Crisis averted, for now :) Thanks for your reply!

Even with the jonsbo there is exactly one possible position to install the heatsink
Even then, the caps are only about 1mm away from the heatsink
And which orientation is that? Can you provide a picture? Received my board today, its working but I‘m getting 95C CPU running Memtest86 with the copper heatsink. I‘m currently trying to figure out how to mount the Jonsbo, thats too hot imho.
And to clarify, the copper heatsink has to be removed for mounting the Jonsbo radiator, right?

yah, first boot takes forever, search and update the bios to the latest, if you don't boot from sata take the nosata one, it boots up in 2 seconds.

that would be a strange way to mount the cooler, I mounted a stock intel cooler I had around and fist perfectly over the copper plate, does a good job cooling, most of the time it stays off, and only starts up for a bit once CPU this 50 ( I don't have fans mounts at the top for now ).

Thanks!

I just disassembled the copper heatsink and realized it wasn‘t even touching the top the CPU. The thermal paste wasn‘t applied properly … I suppose that was reason for the horrible cooling performance.

I‘ll give the copper heatsink another try before messing around with the radiator.

I have mine with the pipes pointing to the opposite direction from your position. That way the pipes are away from those caps.
but when it works, it works.
anyway, mounting the cooler is a bit tricky, if one tightens the screws too tight, the mainboard wraps a bit. I also do not like that the screws are somewhat in the air and there are no standoffs like with other mounting solutions.

where are bios updates published?

on the cwwk website, above the buy button there is a download to googledrive, just put the .iso on a ventoy bootable drive and boot the USB, select the iso and it should update, give it time, is not like a normal bios update, it's a script that rewrites the MB flash, there is a youtube video a few pages down if you want to see how it looks

I have the purple CW-NAS-ADLN-K board. I ordered the fan option with it, installed the fan, added 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 4800 DDR5 memory, Be Quiet L11-400W PSU.

When I power it on, you can hear the fan and... nothing shows. Monitor gets no signal.

Tried HDMI and DP. Swapped PSU to an old Be Quiet SU7-300W. Still nothing. Removed the battery, waited, reinserted, powered on. Still nothing.

Anyone has a clue what to try next? Is my board DOA?

That board supports only 8GB of memory, at least according to online documentation.
Judging from your comments, I understood your 32GB memory module was successfully recognized ? Don't understand how is that possible.
Can you confirm your board actually works with that specific 32GB module ?

On topton website and/or cwwk they say 32gb is no problem.

I have the purple running with crucial ddr5-5600 32gb with no problems. It runs of course only with 4800 mhz

I got my CW-NAS-ADLN-K a couple of days ago. (I had to wait a month before the actually shipped it) but now it's here its a very nice board and totally stable so far.

Working fine with 32GB Crucial.

I did notice straight away that the mouting holes were to small as it wouldn't fit on my testbench.
I have received the correct IO shield but just double checked and I did not receive any special screws . (how much of a problem is this?)
Still waiting on Jonsbo N1 to be delivered and didn't think it would be a problem until I started reading this thread.

I've gotten a 32GB Crucial RAM module (CT32G48C40S5), and I tried it on the CWWK CW-NAS-ADLN-K (N305 version), and all I get is a black screen and after some seconds I get 2-3 beeps. I'm not sure if it's my, my mainbaord or that this module just isn't compatible.

Anyone else tried with this module or close?

You have to give it enough time for the first boot. It can tike long time for BIOS to perform initial memory checks.
Also, I have heard some people suggest not using HDMI output during initialization, but not sure if that is correct.

I used HDMI for initial boot (with no problem). It did take about 2 min before it posted but there were no beeps until it trained the memory, then just the single post beep. I would see if you can pick up another stick RAM as it might be that.
