I tried 275 and he cam back at 285 - i took it figured I'd see how it compares to my 12tb HGST. It's 65 less than i paid for my 12tb HGST.

So this happened - seller cancelled my order This morning - reason unknown. I've asked so will see if he respnds

Here's his response:

our paypal has some problem. many transaction made payment but we don't have it in record in paypal. So paypal tech told me to refund all order and ask the buyer to buy again.

Seems rather odd to me.

It can happen. I've seen glitches before in almost every electronic system there is. I'd try again and see if it goes through properly.

285 is a steep price for 12TB, when the 8TB Easy stores are ~120 or so on sale. Also, After the issue I had trying to get Dell branded Intel DC-S3610 SSD's to update firmware (had to use a Dell server), I dont think I'm ever buying a Dell-branded drive again. Holding out till these or 14TB's come down to ~200-230 ea.

I will second that, too rich a price, especially with the current 8TB drive deals out there right now.
