I'm thinking on best way to pass 15-20 meter optical cable at home and want it to be with smallest possible holes in plaster cornices.

It looks that there are some solutions for self made optical cables.
Like shown in this video:

Unfortunately this company no longer sell this kit, but in ebay there are lot of Chinese optical kits with cleavers like this one: Fiber Optic FTTH Tool Kit Optical Meter Fiber Cleaver Wire Stripper V7L8 | eBay

I find few different connectors which are no-epoxy/no-polish (NENP) connectors: UniCam® Fiber Optic Connectors | Corning
There are other connectors from this type: https://docs.rs-online.com/07ac/0900766b815819f2.pdf
Or these: RS PRO, SC, APC Single Mode Simplex Fibre Optic Connector 9/125μm Fibre Size, 0.5dB Insertion Loss | RS Components

This also look very suitable for home installation, but they didn't mention connectors used:

And of course there are epoxy connector solutions like following one, but they tend to be on more expensive side:

So have anyone successfully made 10GB Optical Cable himself? Without expensive splicer machine?
Which connectors did you use? Which cable? What cleaver?

fs.com has a selection of tools and terminations as well Fiber Optic Cable Tester & Tool Kits - FS and Fiber Optic Termination Tool Kits - FS if you really want to go to town.

Personally, I would go with wall plates and keystones and just fish it. There are wall plates with the keystone mounts set at 45 degree angle so you can plug the fiber into the keystone jack itself and not bend it horribly in the wall.

Alternatively, you buy preterminated and split the pair (LC plugs come apart) and make hole big enough for one LC at a time and feed those in.

fs.com connectors looks like good selection so probably will go with them. And as specialised website they will be able to advice for cable and tools selection as well.

About wall plates for fiber optic cables I only see 10GB for sale Chinese Ones like this one: RiteAV - 2 Port LC Fiber 10GB Duplex Wall Plate: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo
Where it is not clear how much dB loss of signal is expected with them.
And how much it will affect speed.

Maybe better solution will be to roll cable in fiber terminal box like this one, instead of wall plate: 2 Port Fiber Optic Cable Wall Plate For Home Internet – Topfiberbox
In this way no additional loss of signal will be introduced.

I used Cable Matters LC keystones from Amazon. At the length you’re talking about insertion loss practically doesn’t matter unless the keystone is defective. Leviton makes angled keystone wall plates; I’m in the US i see you’re linking UK so that may affect things. But I get wall plates for $3 or less each and 5 keystones for $20.

For loss to affect speed it would have to be ridiculously high.
