I think I have one of those on the shelf, I haven't tested it, but I paid $199 for it.

Now you have me worried, LOL!!

I need to post a picture of them all. The 2 here are "used".

The one in the box is still in the box.

I have 3 Fanless from 2 different sellers. 1 was used, 2 were 'new' in that style box. They all look identical.

The one with the fan has a slight different design under the 10 holes in top right.

Paid anywhere from $200 to $285 over the last 9 months.

If you want more detailed pics to solve this let me know, as i"m not sure what else to look for/compare.

One huge difference between your box and mine is the plastic inside my box is embossed with the "intel" logo yours I don't see it.

Forum wont let me upload the image...

It looks like I got 2 used (no box) 1 new with box (intel logo on plastic) and 1 used w/fan (workstation card).

Seems like below the passive heatsink there are some differences in those cards. Wonder why.

Anyone have ideas on whether this is a fake card from China?

Listing here: Intel 10g Dual RJ45 Ports Ethernet Converged Network Adapter X540 T2 | eBay Seems way cheaper than others and box looks much like the 1Gb boxes.

Has anyone gotten one?

that looks like a clone one :p
can you take a full picture on the front PCB and the back PCB..

the PC board does not looks as Intel Uses (more polish and solid)..

I can see those two Dioded (black rectangle) are label cheaply, can not see in detail of part number.

your pictureis is not good in detail, need front and back PCB Pictures.

based on your picture, I guess, you are having OEM Intel card.
one obvious look is 2x4 vertical empty holes where not filled by soldering.
if you compare from ebay link, the pcb board is looking cheap with my bare eyese and limited no good pictures :D

I may be wrong, but I think @Jeggs101 just pulled those from the ebay listing he linked? Or else he was amazing at replicating the background and lighting.

2 of mine have this and look to match his identical.

2 of mine don't have this but they match each other identically... what's weird is out of these 2, 1 is passive, and 1 has the workstation fan setup.

I'll get pictures of all 4 here shortly.

I'm looking at X520-DA1 right now. They are not in the esxi 6 matrix but I assume they are the same as the DA2 which is in there. Is that a good assumption? If so, can you tell me if they are easy to work with SFP+ wise? Ideally, i'm looking toward sf.com for optical sfp+. Any comment on those or any other with the Intel?

Thanks.
