Seller took $300 as bestoffer
It's ONIE, and SONiC supports it300 is a steal but what OS runs on it?
We should find out soon enoughI wonder if this is the x86 or PPC version as it looks like there was 2 variants according to http://productline.inventec.com/switch/Download/D7032Q28B.pdf
Yes, so far the discovery is:When you get a chance can you post the power consumption if you can measure it, the sound (if it's reasonable for a homelab), and processor (and revision if possible if it's an x86 Atom).
You should reach out to the group that created the patch at Inventec: swsp@inventec.com and other individuals who contributed. They should have advice on what version of SONiC their code works on; but it could be a combination of what's on their own and official SONiC as the debian modules are different even though they are both 1.0.0.Think I might have to call it quits on this thing. Compiled ONIE from source and installed SONiC ended up taking a few tries and needing to modify some bits related to HWSKU and platform detection, but it seems like Invetec's kernel patches for their i2c driver and implementation isn't working anymore, or at least on this device.
