1.5TB of DDR3 x 2

I'm offering this as the ram mostly, but...
I have an X10QBI server aka a Supermicro 8048B that I'm pulling from my lab.
It has 1.5TB of samsung ddr3 ram. Yup. It has 4x Intel E7-8880 v4 CPUs. So yeah 88 cores.
The chassis is a little horked - it was bent in shipping. I don't even use the drive bays, I just use a pcie card with a m.2 ssd.

This in in the Denver area. I live in Lafayette/Boulder but keep the toyz down in the tech center.

Make an offer. I can always just chuck the ram onto ebay.

If you are really motivated... I have two of these. The second is very intact -perfect chassis. same CPUs and 1.5TB of ram.

So. Buy the ram, I'll pop it and ship it. Buy the boxes if you're local. IPMI works, etc.

That system will more than likely take UDIMMs versus RDIMMs:
