I stopped using slot based 400GB drives because slots are too valuable at this point. 1.4TB is a nice size.

650 seems like a great price so long as you aren't using it for a write-heavy app. 750k Read IOPS...95k Write. Ouch. But like Patrick said. Great capacity for a slot-based part.
