All include rails. All RAM modules are assortments of 4GB DDR3. Dell C6100s are official Dell models, upgraded to latest BIOS/BMC/FCB versions. Both Intel servers have had each node/motherboard and all BIOS/BMC/MME updates applied.

How is the drive assignment for the H2312JFKR? Does each node just get 3 drives? Also, are multi-node machines usually screamers? How does it compare to the noise level of the R2312GZ4GCSAS?

Really nice stuff.

Yes, AFAIK it's 3 drives per. The trays themselves have built in mounting hole 'adapters' for 2.5" drives. Not usually screamers really, they're a bit louder than regular single servers but not too bad at all. The H2312 is only a bit louder I would say.
