1) Memory compatibility - frequency

Not great but not bad by any means:
351W Decent idle and maximum views of the system today. That is a fairly bare config with 2x SATA SSDs and only using Broadcom networking. No 24x U.2 NVMe drives or NICs installed.
I was originally told that the production date for the EPYC 7251 was going to start on August 31, 2017. At the same time, we had a retail marked AMD EPYC 7251 show up today. The availability should be getting much better on the $500 ish street price 8 core/ 16 thread lowest cost EPYC part.
I know we have a lot of folks looking for the AMD EPYC 7281 chips.
They are selling for around $730 with 16 core, 32 threads 2.1GHz base 2.7GHz turbo.
