According to well-respected German IT news site heise.de, SSD IO can be affected significantly by the patches [1, in German]. They cite the IO-heavy SYSMark 2014 SE Responsiveness figures in an intel paper [2] as well as some tests they did themselves. Has anyone here had a look at this yet...
