    Ok but if the power supply isn't even turning on when connecting to the MB does that mean the MB is dead? If I take this PS hook it up to another MB/CPU combo all works fine.

    It doesn't power up currently. No debug code since no power. No smell No lights The power supply powers up another MB/CPU combo I have. I also tried the PS from another working system and no go on this setup. So I believe it is either the MB or CPU but not sure which one.
